Recording
Your Own Message |
|
Tips For a
Good Recording |
|
|
Put three "AA" batteries in the battery compartment of the voice
box.
Locate the On/Off switch on the back of the unit and push it to the
"On" position.
Find the Play/Record switch on the right side of the box and switch
it to the Record position - the one marked "R".
Speak into the microphone located on the left side of the unit.
You have up to 20 seconds to complete your message.
As soon as you finis your message, change the Play/Record switch to
the "Play" position - the one marked "P".
Your Voice will now repeat it's message with each activation. |
|
Hold the voice box close to your
mouth and speak directly into the microphone. This will help
you get a good volume.
When you switch the box from Play to Record mode your entire
previously recorded message is erased. If you make a mistake
recording your message just switch the box to Play and then back to
Record and start over.
Try to record in a quiet place to avoid picking up a lot of
background noises in your recording.
NOTE: Since the voice box is motion activated it will play its
recording whenever anything moves in front of it. Pushing the
On/Off switch to the Off position will stop this without erasing the
recorded message |

Instructions
for Attaching the Voice Box |
|
|
Locate the voice box holes in
the standup. (See diagram B.) The Voice Box will go on the
back of the standup. behind these holes.
Make sure the holes are clear. If there is still cardboard in
the holes, gently clear them with a pen or pencil.
Locate the Motion Detector hole on the Voice Box. This hole is
by itself, above and to the left of the other voice box holes.
See Diagram A.
The Motion Detector must be lined up with the top left
hole in the standup in order to work. See Diagram B.
Remove the coverings on the adhesive strips
Stick a pen or pencil through the front fo the standup into the top
left hole so it extends out the back a little. Place the
Motion Detector hole on the Voice Box over the tip of the pen or
pencil so it lines up precisely with the hole in the standup.
Press the Voice box firmly in place and remove your pen or pencil.
Locate the On/Off switch on the back of the Voice Box and push it to
the "On" position.
Your Standup is Ready to Talk! |
